You sit and wonder how you can reduce your energy consumption. Gas is expensive and you’re conscious about your place on this planet. You understand that every penny you save in energy costs goes directly into your pocket while at the same time helping the environment. You wonder how you can help.
You arrive at work just before your boss walks in and tells you that you’ve got a long day ahead of you. Fear strikes. Through your morning haze and rush to beat the morning traffic you realize that you left the garage door open and forgot to arm the security system. There have been a few burglaries in the area in recent weeks and you don’t want your home to be a sitting duck.
Your daughter has come down with the chicken pox and there is nobody to stay with her during the day. You family is out of town and you have a huge project due at the end of the week. You have no idea how you’re going to get it done.
These scenarios represent just a few of the problems that we have solutions for. Most people say that it’s just as easy to do things the old fashioned way. The only problem with that is that the old fashioned way is never easy. We’re not saying that technology is always easy either but it’s our job and our passion to make it as easy to use as possible. We want you to throw the “old fashioned way” out the window where it belongs. Your time is precious because there’s no possible way to make more of it. That is of course unless you save time doing old fashioned things in a new way. Back to our scenarios.
You wonder how you can reduce your energy consumption. We sit down together and look at the way you live and how you use your energy. We then design a system that allows your home to control your energy usage without your interaction. Your home becomes smart enough that it knows when you’re not using things so it automatically turns them off to conserve power. Your couch doesn’t get to watch TV uninterrupted any longer.
You left the garage door open and forgot to arm the security system. No sweat. Log on to your customized web portal to close the garage door and arm the security system at the same time. You can even let the neighbor in to feed the dog if you’re going to be home late. All from your office, from your computer.
Your daughter has the chicken pox, yuck. You recently switched to a new Voice Over IP (VoIP) phone system at your office that enables you to place calls from your cell phone as if you were sitting at your desk. You sit down at your computer, logon to your office network over your VPN and you’re ready to go. Deadline met.
Now on to our favorite. Necessity means something different to everyone. Who doesn’t need this next one?
You open the door, the lights gently illumnate, the shades go up and the television turns on and switches to WKYC-3 just in time for you to see the final pitch of an Indians opening day victory. You didn’t touch a thing, everything just worked automatically. Wouldn’t it be nice if cooking dinner was that easy? Wouldn’t it be nice if the Tribe went on to win the World Series? Go Tribe!
We can go on for days with examples. Just ask us and we’ll be happy to talk your ear off.
